We will be having a Christmas Clinic/Camp in December.

The Syracuse mens and womens gymnastics teams are working out at West Side.  Some of the SU gymnasts have been teaching some classes for us.  They are doing a great job.

West Side Teachers- We are lucky to have some of the best teachers in gymnastics working at West Side.  They were very accomplished gymnasts when they competed.  Their love of the sport carries over to their teaching.  Our students are very lucky.

What a summer.  The summer at West Side was one of the busiest summers in 42 years.  It could have been our new gym, our awesome teachers, or all the fun the kids had.  We are just happy that the summer was great for our students.  

Our 42nd year deomonstrating at the fair was a great time.  The kids had a great time.  The coaches did a wonderful job.  And, as one of the gymnasts said to me after the demo, that was awesome.  I agree.  Our goal is 50 years demonstrating at the fair.

 Don't forget to sign up for the class you want early.  Many times classes close out.  We can put you on a waiting list but call soon so you don't have to wait.  

We will have 3 Ninja boys gymnastics classes this year.  In the class the boys will learn gymnastics, be challenged with different Ninja courses.  Also, the boys will work on their strength and flexibility.

 Don't forget that we offer birthday parties throughout the year.  Usually we are booked 1 to 2 months in advance.  Call soon if you are planning a birthday party in the fall.

Hello Everyone,

West Side has some exciting news.  WE are moving into a bigger facility.  WE enjoyed our time where we have been but we needed more space.  Besides having a much larger space we have a 50 car parking lot, air condition in the summer and an extensive pit and tumbling area.  Our plan is to be in the new facility by May,  at the latest by June.

The great thing is that it is only two blocks from where we currently are.

Hello Everyone,

The calls are coming in quick and we are precessing applications everyday, thanks for all the calls.  We will be in the gym next week from Mon-Wed August 29th, 30th,31st, as an informal open house. Stop in and say hello.  We are extending our special discount to the end of the month.  If you sign up before the end of the month you can take a complimentary second class in the month of September.  That means 8 classes instead of 4

Our classes start up the day after Labot Day.  

West Side will be demonstrating at the Fair on Thursday August 25th

Hello Everyone

West Side has had a very very busy summer.  Our enrollment doubled this summer.  We look forward to our new students in September. Our student lists are growing each week.for September.  Look at the web pages and check out the class schedule before you sign up.  We have had to add some additional classes for the new students.

We are running a special.:)

If you send in your registration fee before August 25th you will receive a second class for free in September.

Don't forget to look for us at the fair.  We have demonstrated for the last 40 years.  We are in front of the coliseum.  Their will be 3 performances.  Check the fair web site fpr times.  WE don't know them yet.

Look for fall info in the mail.

Hello Everyone,

We just ended our being a friend month.  Thanks to the many gymnasts who brought a friend.  It was a great success.  Spring time is sign up time for alot of children.  We offer start up classes for free.

We offer many preschool classes and beginner girls and boys classes.  They are starting to fill up and close.  So if you are thinking about signing up, now is the time.

We have competitive teams at all levels.  Our teams continue to improve and get better.  They workout very hard and we are proud of all of them.  They are in the middle of their competitive season.  The coaches are doing an awesome job with the girls and boys.

Soon West Side will have two meets for our students.  A medal meet and a trophy meet.  Both will be alot of fun.  Our students are just starting new routines for these competitions.

West Side is in sign up mode.  Spring is coming.  Great time to sign up for a gymnastics class. Usually spring is a big time for new students.  Come in for a free class.  Our pledge is that you will have a great time.

September classes start September 8th Tuesday.  This year marks the start of our 39th year in business.  We are proud to say that we are the oldest gymnastics school in Syracuse under the same management for 39 years.  Our goal has always been to bring gymnastics to as many young people as possible. We believe this sport, our sport,  is a great stepping stone for all the other sports.  We are proud to say we have tried to keep the sport affordable for everyone to try it.

We look forward to seeing our past students and welcome all our new students in September.  Our program has many choices for toddlers, preschoolers, beginner girls and boys, advance classes for boys and girls, and finally team levels for boys and girls.  

We provide fun win/ win recitals and competitions for our classes.  Our team girls levels Excel and levels 6,7,8,9 compete under USA Gymnastics our governing body. Our boys team which is young team will compete levels 5.6.7 this year.  Our teams have competed at States, Regionals, and Nationals over the years. We are also proud to say that we have had over 100 gymnasts receive full scholarships in our sport.  Also, we have sent at least 300 gymnasts to colleges all over the country to compete in college gymnastics.

What we are most proud of is that over the 39 years we have brought gymnastics to nearly 12,000 students.  We have had students that now have their childrens, children participating at West Side. Third generation families involved.  WOW

Hello Everyone,

-We have been very busy.  It's been great to see all of our devoted students and meet so many new friends.

-West Side is planning two vacation day camps this fall.  A Thanksgiving and Christmas camp.  West Side students and their friends are invited to take part.  We have handed out information sheets in class and will do it again this month.  Our day camps are always educational and fun.  Hope to see you there.

-Our issues with the website have finally been resolved.  We felt helpless to our computer.  One of the parents saved the day.  THANK YOU.

December 14th will be our 37th annual Christmas Recital.  Every student at West Side can be involved.  Its one of the highlights of the year.  

Many parents always ask if there is something they can do for us.  That question is a always a kind jesture.  My answer is always the same. Tell a friend about West side.
